MOTIVATION AND COOPERATION WITH STUDENTS AS FACILITATING FACTORS IN CREATING EDUCATIONAL MEDIA CONTENTS
Abstract: In this paper we will present the importance of motivation and mutual cooperation between students as major factors in creating educational media content. Research has been done in schools that have a long teaching practice in creating educational films, as well as in schools that do not have experience with this type of work in Serbia.
Research shows that interdisciplinary in creating educational media content contributes to the development of positive competencies in students. With the help of media educational content, students have the opportunity to simultaneously gain knowledge from several areas and subjects, which increases their motivation.
The research also includes critical analysis of the contents that are present in the media programs in the Republic of Serbia who are intended for children aged 7-10 years. The research also covers the attitudes of students at that age, where satisfaction dominates among students who have participated and learned through the creation of educational media content. The others who did not participate in this type of teaching, show interest in it.
Today’s media content contains a different range of information. Not all of them contain an educational component. Different cultures, mentalities, lifestyles and behaviors further contribute to the contents being even more incomprehensible or misinterpreted by the target group for which they are intended. All this shows the importance of each country creating individual conditions for its own media educational content.
