THE ACTUAL STATE IN THE REGULATION OF THE NATIONAL NATURAL GAS MARKET

Abstract: In the last few decades, globally, the overall development has created the need of finding and using energy fuels that should be economical and their use to result in increased productivity, taking care they are not harmful to people and the environment. In this regard, it is considered that natural gas an an energy fuel greatly satisfies these conditions. The actualization of natural gas related issues and the perception of its benefits have initiated an increase in the consumers needs and all this together has strengthen the need of normative regulation of this field in the national legislations in the countries. With the very beginning of using natural gas, the need to organize and regulate the natural gas market arises, that is, normative regulation of the terms and relations between the entities involved in this market. The development of the natural gas market is aimed at improving the existing conditions and the already established rules. The development of the natural gas market in each member-state and candidate country for EU membership is directly conditioned by the implementation of the directives and regulations of the European Union relating to this field and whose ultimate goal is to create an open market.
