Miro (Mirko) Katic, Ph.D, was born on May 19, 1971. in Prijedor, former Republic of Yugoslavia. He is a doctor of legal science, Professor at the Faculty of Law, PIM University in Banja Luka (Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina) in undergraduate, master’s and doctoral studies at the Department of Criminal Law, and the Faculty of Law in Economics and Justice in Novi Sad, University of Business Academy, Republic of Serbia. As an author and co-author, he has published a large number of scientific and professional papers in international and leading journals of national importance, as well as collections of papers from international scientific conferences in which he participated and had notable presentations. He is the author of a book called Genocide, Crime against Humanity, War Crime, published in GlobeEdit, Riga, Latvia, in 2020, which is in the process of being translated into 8 world languages. He is permanently employed in Headquarters for Fight against Terrorism and Extremism, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republic of Srpska, Banja Luka.
