Ivan Ilić, PhD, is an assistant professor at the University in Niš Faculty of Law. He is lecturer on Criminal procedural law, Criminalistics, Victimology, Clinical legal education, Legal and gender studies, The legal standards for the protection of human rights in criminal justice, Organized Crime, Criminal Justice, Special investigative techniques, International documents to prevent police torture, International police cooperation and Criminal justice history in Serbia. So far, he has participated in more than 100 scientific conferences in Serbia and abroad. Until now, he was visited lecturer in Serbia and abroad in area of criminal procedural law as well as in European human rights law. Last three years, he has held training course for law students in Nis, Serbia, and Shtip, North Macedonia, in the field of application of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and about European Court on Human Rights case law. So far he has published a large number of scientific articles in the field of criminal procedure law and human rights. His narrow area of interest is human rights in criminal proceedings. He is also a president of NGO “Club for Moot Court, debate and Rhetoric Iustitia Niš” and long term academic coach of students teams for moot court competitions.
