Prof. Goran Koevski is an inspirational law professor and researcher, offering 30 years of continuous experience in developing, implementing, and reforming company and commercial law in North Macedonia. Involved in improving the national business environment by actively participating in both, the background examination of the underlying policies and the drafting of pieces of legislation directly related to company and commercial law. He has been conducting research visits at many renowned universities and institutes: Max Planck Institute for International and Comparative Private Law in Hamburg, Germany, Columbia University School of Law in New York City, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, etc. During his academic career, he published numerous articles, papers, monographs in North Macedonia and abroad in Macedonian, English, and Serbian language. He, also, participated in many international research projects associated with the company law. Until March 2021, he held a position of a Dean of the oldest, biggest, and best ranking public Faculty of Law ‘Iustinianus Primus’, Ss. ‘Cyril and Methodius’ University in Skopje, North Macedonia. Simultaneously, he lectures company law, bankruptcy law, securities law, corporate governance, and competition law courses on a graduate, postgraduate, and doctoral level.
