She graduated from the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad in 2000. In 2002, she completed the specialist course Comparative Studies in Central Europe at specialist academic studies in Novi Sad. During the school year 2002/2003. she completed a master’s degree at the Deutsche Rechtsschule, in German, organized by the Law Faculties of Novi Sad and the Minster. She defended her master’s thesis on “Time in Law” on November 4, 2005, at the Faculty of Law in Nis. She defended her doctoral thesis on “The principle of acquired rights and the retroactive effect of the law” in 2011 at the Faculty of Law in Nis.

From 2000, she worked for 18 months as a trainee lawyer in two law offices in Novi Sad. In 2001, she was elected an assistant trainee for the subject Theory of State and Law. She was elected an assistant at the home faculty in June 2006. She was re-elected as an assistant in the same subject in 2009, and as an assistant professor at the same faculty in 2012, and re-elected as an assistant professor in 2017.

She participated in numerous working groups at the republic ministries, for writing new or amending existing regulations, as well as at the local level, than at public hearings, and debates, by invitation.

From November 2014 to December 2016, by the decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, she was a member of the Supervisory Board of the Budget fund for the treatment of injuries, diseases, and illnesses that cannot be successfully treated in the Republic of Serbia. Also, since 2014, she has been a certified trainer in the field of protection against discrimination, under the training program conducted by the Office of the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality of the Republic of Serbia.

From May 2015 to December 2017, she was a member of the HERE team Serbia – the National Network of Experts for Higher Education Reform.
She participates in the work of the Coordination Body for Safety of Children and Youth in Primary and Secondary Schools in Novi Sad. She is one of the founders and current president of the City Council of Parents, a consultative body of parents for the territory of the City of Novi Sad.
Since December 2016, she has been the President of the Management Board of the Student Cultural Center “Novi Sad”, as well as a member of the Management Board of the Provincial Fund for Refugees and Expelled Persons.

Registered in the Register of Mediators for Peaceful Settlement of Disputes (Mediators), at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Serbia, in April 2020.

• At the initiative of students, the organization Young Lawyers of Serbia named her one of the ten best young lawyers in the Republic of Serbia in 2007.
• Received a special award for promoting safe communities in 2008.
• She is the winner of the October Award of Novi Sad for 2014, for raising awareness about the safety of children and youth in Novi Sad.
• In 2016, she was elected, by the votes of students, as one of the ten best and most inspiring professors at the University of Novi Sad, during the “Researchers’ Night” event.
